The bonus of Northern Ireland’s indie rockers, Ash, brings me out on a Monday night to see The Darkness again in Bristol. Always rocking. Always entertaining.
The Damned – live in Bristol
A tour that draws strongly on tracks from The Black Album, Machine Gun Etiquette and Strawberries, with Rat Scabies back on the drums, brings out one of my favourite Damned gigs of recent years. Tonight is my thirteenth time of seeing them, with a variety of line ups since Hammersmith Odeon in 1980.

The family in black gathers for the 50th anniversary tour. Over 30 Stranglers gigs since I started in 1979. The band has changed, suffered losses, but the performances continue. Always a pleasure.
