My Top Ten Gigs of 2024

It’s very very rare for me not to enjoy a gig. I enjoyed every single one of the 65 gigs I went this year. Some are better than expected, some aren’t. It can be influenced by the night out as a whole, setlist,familiarity,venue,who you’re with or mood. Whatever the contributing factors, some gigs are a cut above the rest and these are my top ten for the year 2024.

Rebellion Festival 2022 – my wander through it – Part 1

A new venue for the grey haired gig goer, somewhere outside Newbury. Hugh Cornwell with band plays a set of his solo songs followed by a string of classic Stranglers tunes. Who said there are no more heroes.
