The Killers bring a bit of Las Vegas to London
A little bit of Las Vegas comes to the O2 Arena, London with a string of concerts by The Killers. After my own string of Killers calamities, I finally get it right.
Green Day – Live in London
I return to Wembley Stadium, reluctantly, for what transpires to be a lesson in how to play in a place as huge as this – Green Day – thirty gigs in to 2024 and this is my gig of the year so far.
Placebo – Southampton Summer Sessions
The Summer Sessions in Southampton. An outdoor gig in the middle of the city, in the most urban of locations. One of my favourite bands of recent decades playing – short trip. Gotta be done.
Status Quo – live at Swansea Arena
An essential part of British rock’n’roll culture. I’d never seen them live and thought it was about time I did. When some spare tickets came my way it was off to Wales for a few days.

Gary Numan: Replicas and The Pleasure Principle live in London
A retro gig with Gary Numan showcasing the early albums, Replicas and The Pleasure Principle. It’s Saturday night in London.
The Rifles live in Kentish Town

The Stranglers – 50th Anniversary Tour – London and Bristol
The family in black gathers for the 50th anniversary tour. Over 30 Stranglers gigs since I started in 1979. The band has changed, suffered losses, but the performances continue. Always a pleasure.
Devo live in London.. for the last time (?)
A look back at one of those special gigs last year. Devo, playing in the last chance saloon…in the UK anyway. Whip It boys.
