An essential part of British rock’n’roll culture. I’d never seen them live and thought it was about time I did. When some spare tickets came my way it was off to Wales for a few days.
Dexys find some old soul rebels in Poole
Kevin Rowland. What a huge influence on the early 80s. He’s had a hard time since but it was beautiful to see him back on form, here in Poole, leaning over me in my front row seat singing with his voice as good as ever. We weren’t seated for long.
