Inhaler have stepped up to bigger and bigger venues, so it was good to see them come to Portsmouth Guildhall. It was buzzing.

The warm comfort of Ocean Colour Scene’s songs with use of nostalgic backdrops of the band in their younger days makes for retro feel in Pompey tonight.
The Cult – live in Portsmouth
Despite several gigs featuring previous incarnations of The Cult, over 42 years and one festival set, I am amazed that finally, aged 61, in 2024, this is my first indoor experience of a show by The Cult. It had to be done and what a belter it was.
